From One Man's Vision to 15,000 Dreams
In 1993, Dr. P. Sethu — the first in his family to receive an education — started St. Paul's School with just 18 students. Coming from the rural village of Andhur, he experienced firsthand the challenges of pursuing higher education without proper English skills or quality schooling.
Where others saw barriers, he saw possibility. In a region with high dropout rates and no English-medium schools, Dr. Sethu created an institution that would give rural children the foundation to succeed.
Today, that small school serves 1,088 students from 35 villages, producing doctors, engineers, and teachers — many the first in their families to be educated. In total, the school has educated over 15,000 children since 1993.
